PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT

This is the web site of Station112.com, operated by Timothy Shay, doing business as TwoShay Software and Consulting.

For each visitor (also referred to as conumer or user) to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes the consumer's network (IP) address and uses the services of MaxMind.com to translate that to a city, state and country location with latitude/longitude.  This is not the actual location of the visitor, but an approximation based on references to the consumer's Internet Service Provider.  No personally identifying information is automatically collected, except where the user may choose to manually enter text or upload files.  Any text or files entered by consumers may be made publicly available except where options are provided to limit the use of that information, and that should be taken into consideration when making those entries.

We collect individual and aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit,  and information volunteered by the consumer, such as voting/survey information and/or site registrations.  The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page and allow users to contribute to the content.

With respect to cookies: We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, record past activity at a site in order to provide better service when visitors return to our site , ensure that visitors are not repeatedly sent the same banner ads and customize Web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends.

We do not send any automated emails from our system.  If this changes in the future, we will only send email after an explicit opt-in is selected by users.  Any emails sent will be accompanied by an opt-out link.  If there are any issues with opting out of automated messages, please let us know by sending us e-mail at the above address.

With respect to Ad Servers: To try to bring you offers that are of interest to you, we have relationships with other companies that we allow to place ads on our Web pages. As a result of your visit to our site, ad server companies may collect information such as your domain type, your IP address and clickstream information. • Amazon.com (at present, only linked for the purposes of providing links to additional information and purchase functions for currently-playing songs).

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.

Upon request we provide site visitors with access to all information [including proprietary information] that we maintain about them.
